NOTE: this is a NON-CLUB EVENT!

Information is being posted here as a convenience for members who wish to coordinate with other members who are planning to go to Dunsmuir on their own accord.

Make your reservation at the Railroad Park Resort NOW. It books early! There are a very limited number of cabins and cabooses remaining available onsite. Many folks who attended last year booked for this year already. You can also book accommodations at other local hotels as well (in Dunsmuir or Shasta City).

Please make your reservations with an option to cancel in the event of disasters such as wildfires or pandemics, or in the event of personal illness/emergency.

About Dunsmuir Railroad Park

Reservation Details:
Your reservation can be made online. If you want to, they also have camping options.  Your credit card won't be charged until you arrive. It is pet friendly. 

To Reserve your caboose, cabin or camping spot:

• Click on the "Check Availability" button at: https://rrpark.com//

• Set the dates for arrival Friday, October 17th to Sunday, October 19th

• Click "Search" this will then set the results to show you what's still available

  A few other notes

• Bring your own food, drinks, snack etc. if you wish for Friday & Saturday or check out the local dining choices

• Bring a chair to sit by the campfire at night

• Radios - it will be easier to coordinate with other members if you bring a radio. CLUB RADIOS WILL NOT BE PROVIDED FOR THIS NON-CLUB EVENT.

• Blankets - it will be cold at night

• Rain Gear – we’ve experienced occasional rain in past years

• Bring cash or some form of payment to cover your table's bill if your join other members for dinner on Saturday evening in the park’s restaurant

• Coordinate with other members for other camping gear, fire pits, etc.
