Run Details
This will be a two-part run. Bring a copilot to record some scenic pictures of the golden coast of Highway 1, the Golden Gate Bridge, the San Francisco skyline, and the Presidio.
Part one: We will begin our journey at MINI of Marin to have bagels and coffee. We will drive south on 101 to Blithedale, towards Miller Rd. to the infamous Panoramic Highway.
We will pass through Muir Beach, Stinson Beach and proceed onto Highway 1. We won’t be able to stop off to any of the beaches due to limited parking spaces.
We will have a 20 minute break and take our group picture after we return to California Coast Highway 1 at the Good Earth supermarket in Mill Valley.
Part two: From Mill Valley, we will continue toward the onramp to San Francisco. The club will drive across the Golden Gate Bridge to the Walt Disney Family Museum located in the Presidio.
Entrance to the museum will require a timed reservation - tickets can be purchased in advance.
Lunch Details
Following the museum, we will have lunch on the Main Parade lawn near the front of Walt Disney museum. Bring your portable chairs and blankets. There will be several food trucks for those looking to be more adventurous. Parking is $12 flat rate.
