Navy Captain Demoted For Drag Racing Guided Missile Cruiser

The San Francisco Chronicle reports that Capt. Holly Graf was relieved of her command of the guided missile cruiser USS Cowpens for, among other things, drag racing the cruiser against the destroyer USS John S. McCain in February 2009 off of Okinawa. No information is provided about who won, but, it sounds like Captain Graf ultimately lost.
