Mini Wins Rallye Des Alpes

Peter Barker's 1965 Austin Cooper S was the only Mini entrant in the 100th anniversary running of the Rallye Des Alpes, an historic rally through the alps, and tied a 1959 Triumph TR3 for the overall win. Only classic cars built between 1919 and 1971 could enter the race and only pre-1964 vehicles were eligible to win the rally.
