AutoGuide.com reports that BMW recently applied for a patent on the old Triumph laurel wreath emblem. BMW purchased the Triumph moniker as part of its purchase of Rover that included MINI and Rolls Royce. Although there are no reports that the brand will be revived it BMW could eventually do so.
