Amazingly enough, the new Roadster is the sixth model in the Mini family and the best example of a niche manufacturer inventing new products to stay fresh — though I think Mini Convertible sales will take a hit as a result. As much as the Roadster is a toy, it is endlessly entertaining to drive and positively infectious in its joie de vivre. With sunny summer weather here, I don’t want to give it back.
