Peterhansel Still In First Place Overall After Dakar 2013 Stage 4

Motorsport.com reports MINI X-raid Team's French pairing Stéphane Peterhansel / Jean-Paul Cottret took to third position during day 3 and continues to hold the overall Dakar 2013 Car category lead. The team of Nani Roma and Michel Périn finished the day fifth overall but by the end of Stage 4 dropped to seventh. Leonid Novitskiy and Konstantin Zhiltsov finished sixth on Stage 3 but after Stage 4, they hold fourth position overall. Boris Garafulic and Gilles Picard took their MINI ALL4 Racing to 20th position, but Stephan Schott / Holm Schmitt encountered problems in the opening stages of the special stage finishing twentieth.  The team redeemed itself and after Stage 4 is in fifteenth place overall.  Here, courtesy of MINIMotorsport.com, are the overall standings after Stage 4:
