Auto critic Mark Phelan reviews the new MINI Convertible for The Detroit Free Press and observes:
. . . The new Mini convertible is 4.5 to 5.1 inches longer and up to 170 pounds heavier than the previous model, but it’s still very small. At 151.9 inches long, the largest — a Cooper S — is still 2.2 inches shorter than the little Mazda MX-5 Miata two-seater. . . .
